SSF1 Cobra -
Space Superiority Fighter
The Cobra is considered
SSC's entry level starfighter design. A dedicated airframe
for space superiority combat and interception duties,
the Cobra is a purebread that can't do much outside
of its intended design. Despite this, the Cobra remains
a revered fighter in the SSC military. Tough, fast,
and nimble, the Cobra is a vicious dogfighter as well
as carrier borne escort. The Cobra does have its handicaps
however, limited range and little versatility have hurt
it on the galactic market, especially since it is only
compatible with the other SSC capital craft as a carrier
borne escort.
