FP111 Draco
- All purpose fighter
The basic staple
of the Reinaare navy is the Draco, a well designed,
well balanced starfighter with an excellent service
record and mass production. The core design of the Draco
has undergone very few revisions through the years,
further adding to its reputation as a durable and reliable
starfighter. If the draco has a major marketing flaw,
it would be it's relative lack of flexibility in the
types of munitions it can effectively carry. The available
power for hard point mounted weapon systems is relatively
low, decreasing the roles the starfighter can effectively
carry out. However, as a low-maintainence, high-availablilty
dog fighter and interceptor, there are few ships in
the galaxy that can out-perform it.
