PT89 Raven -
Space Superiority Fighter
Designed as a short
to medium range escort fighter, the Raven has been the
backbone of the Ptolaman-Triton deep space Navy for
decades. Strictly carrier-borne, the Raven's role is
that of dogfighter, escort, and protector. Its agility
and balance of firepower make it an excellent ship-to-ship
interceptor and dogfighter. Its only drawback is the
need for specialized scramble and recovery equipment
in order to achieve the ships full potential as a defensive
screen against surprise attack. Many can be found throughout
the galaxy modified for more conventional fighter roles
including atmospheric superiority.

shielded against jamming and target redirection)
